LAETRILE (B17)

Laetrile is a purified form of amygdalin, a compound found in many foods, particularly apricot seeds, that has been shown to have anticancer properties. Recent studies have shown apoptosis (tumor cell death) to be activated by amygdalin. It has been used in natural and adjunctive therapies for decades. Benefits include boosting the immune system, reducing oxidative stress, and detoxifying the body. In cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, amygdalin has been shown to improve appetite as well as act as a natural pain reliever and reducing narcotic use.
